Feeding the Wild Does!

We are going to have at least 2 baby fawns by mid september.
I have put out all kinds of treats for the does this week
on that one tree stump...in our yard.
Here you will see blueberry muffins, bread, cornbread,
danish pastries full of apples and more!

Leo and the Doe in our yard!

I have an ll month old tomcat named Leo as you know
from his photos on the blog!
He is fearless, so I guess naming him Leo like a lion
was appropriate!
Watch the sequence of him stalking this wild doe
that could have stomped him to death as she was feeding
in our yard.

Baby Lizard!

This afternoon I walked in the flower gardens and yard to photograph
anything that was moving in nature!
I found this baby green lizard.

People Watching!

I enjoy watching people..

every human has a different thumb print
just think how many humans inhabit
Planet Earth!

I like to watch their eyes, their face shape,
the color of their hair or lack of it and
anything they have done to make themselves
unique or stand out in a crowd..

to watch them in thought and wonder what they are thinking
about at the moment I see them through my lens..

Most do not mind having their image taken
when I tell them it is for my blog.

I wonder what the meaning of the tatoo is..
if you know please leave a comment..
I do not know what the words or letters stand
for on the young man's back above the tatoo.

Leave a comment anytime you enjoy anything you
see..

Cat tails!

When I was a little girl I had a fascination with cat tails!
Of course I loved cats, and had at one time 27 cats that were
dropped off at our house on purpose..

However I loved cat tails like these by a pond!
They were always in a dangerous place where snakes
lurked..

I enjoyed these turtles today and seeing the cat tails
by the pond!
