This doe and her fawn are my most heart touching photo this year

the entire generation of wild deer have been born on my land

and come to see me each day

this mother I call bread mama because she loves a soft piece of sandwich bread as a treat

along with   her fawn with  their fresh water we provide and their feed each day!

May a time of beauty in Sheris healing flower garden!

The Clematis are my favorite flowers
Here are Comtesse Bouchaud and Marcelina!

In April/May 2020 issue of Birds and Blooms I had a photo of Dr. Ruppel published
out of over 8 million subscribers and millions more buying the magazine
from book stores..

Notice the raindrops, that had fallen upon Dr. Ruppel early that morning!

I was totally honored and stunned to have been chosen to be published in this issue.
Here is Dr.Ruppel my clematis in Sheris healing flower garden.

Titmouse collecting a beak full of nesting materials!

I wonder if anyone else would like to hug a little titmouse as I wish I could cradle her
in my  hand and stroke her two little legs that work so hard to build a nest to have
her babies?

I love titmouse birds and we have them...sometimes they will build in the birdhouse in my
sheris healing flower garden.

She is gathering cypress mulch and also dried clematis leaves
in her beak to place in her nest she is building.

Isn't she beautiful? Red fox comes to visit in April!

She happened to visit this week and ate the sliced apples and almonds that were in the pan for the deer that come daily. She had fresh water in a pan to drink nearby! The deer enjoyed loaf   bread and also hot dog rolls!

Lily has her 3rd birthday!

Notice she is licking her tongue after a taste of her birthday cake!
Thank goodness she has calmed down some by age 3. She was and is a high energy
cat..She is just becoming more affectionate in that she will now sit with me and rub
against my leg when she is in the mood to do so.
She no longer climbs my curtains ...she likes for me to hold a laser pointer
and let her run after it in the house...She is totally spoiled!

Mother doe shows love to her daughter!

Sometimes  humans forget that animals  feel and  show love such as this deer teaching her child how to groom itself . This was very touching to me to be able to watch this act of love from a window at my home. Notice the wet fur on the little does neck where she was groomed then she groomed her mother and her mother closed her eyes in pleasure as she felt the love her little one had for her!

Lily has her 2nd birthday !

Lily turned 2 years old this month in May of 2017!

Working with a cat to photograph them takes endurance and patience of which I have had to develop over many years!

I placed  the table cloth and presents and  positioned Lily on the table for photographs.

I  returned from the kitchen with the birthday cake  to find she had skidded off the table and drug the entire   table of presents and gifts off the table to the floor!

Hope you enjoy the pictures which took me over an hour holding a heavy camera in one hand and a wriggling 10 pound Lily cat in the other hand...

Tripod would never have worked, no time to back off to use a tripod and keep a wild child on the table!

May flowers!

May is my favorite month to photograph my Sheri's healing flower garden the reason why is that the blooms are numerous, the colors contrasting so well and the garden is filled in with plants and foliage. I have clematis, iris, coneflowers, perennial salvia, butterfly bushes, dwarf guara, tall garden phlox and 80 daylilys.
